AI visibility audit pricing 2026 (Q4): what 15 GEO agencies charge

An AI visibility audit costs between €249 and $5,000 in Q4 2026. Most cost $500 or less: nine of the fifteen agencies below charge that or under, and the middle price is $497. Audits for one kind of client, such as law firms or private clinics, cost the most.

An AI visibility audit is usually the first thing a GEO agency sells. It shows what ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers say about a business, which competitors they name instead, and what to fix first.

Fifteen agencies in this directory publish a price for one, so this is AI visibility audit pricing for 2026 as agencies actually charge it, updated each quarter. The figures below come from the agencies themselves, through their listing submissions, and each was checked against the agency's own website between September and October 2026. We have left the agencies unnamed. Prices are shown as each agency publishes them, and we have not converted currencies.

What the numbers show

Nine of the fifteen charge €500 or $500 or less. The middle price is $497.

Three sit between $750 and €1,500.

The three most expensive each serve one kind of client: private clinics, law firms and B2B software companies. Specialist audits cost more.

What changes AI visibility audit pricing

The scope of the test is the clearest difference. One US agency states its audit as ten questions, five engines and three runs, so 150 answers. Another samples 25 questions across five engines. When an agency says how many questions it asks and how many times, you can compare one audit with another. When it does not, ask.

Language matters too. The Gulf consultancy runs every question in English and Arabic, because its clients' customers ask in both.

Some prices include work as well as findings. The cheapest audit here, at €249, also covers structured data and crawler access. One US firm sells a foundation project from $4,500 that combines a technical audit with the fixes, which is why it is not in the table.

The free first step

At least thirteen agencies in the directory offer something free before the paid audit: a quick check, a crawler access report or a short audit by email. These usually test whether AI crawlers can read the site and whether the business is mentioned at all. The paid audit is where the agency runs real buyer questions and explains what to change.

Audits that pay for the next step

Four agencies credit the audit against what comes next, usually if the client starts within about a month. One includes the audit in a €690 sprint, and another deducts it from the first month of a plan.

If you expect to carry on with the same agency, that makes the audit close to free.

Before you buy one

Ask how many questions the agency will run, on which engines, and how many times each. Answers vary between runs, so a single run of each question tells you little.

Ask for the raw answers as well as the summary. At least one agency here hands over every answer with its findings, and that is worth expecting from anyone.

Ask whether the price is credited against later work.

You can compare all the agencies in the directory, with their services, locations and the engines they cover, on the agencies page.
