Methodology

GEO Agencies is a directory, not a review site. We list agencies that do real generative engine optimization work, and we describe them with details you can check.

How agencies get listed

Every agency in the directory submitted its own listing through the submit form. We do not add agencies ourselves. A listing only goes live when we can confirm the agency exists, does GEO work, and the details it sent hold up against its own website.

New listings are on one of two paid plans, Verified or Featured. Agencies listed before 16 October 2026 keep a free listing.

Where the details come from

Pricing, team size, engines covered and selected work come from the agency itself. We record where each detail was checked and when, and remove anything we cannot confirm.

On Verified and Featured listings we also check the agency's clients, case studies and awards against a source before they appear, and the profile says what we confirmed and when. We check them again every quarter. The check covers facts only and carries no rating.

How lists are ordered

Featured first, then alphabetically. Nothing else affects the order.

Verified and free listings sit together in alphabetical order, so paying for a Verified listing does not move it up. No agency sits higher for having been listed longer or for sending more detail.

What Verified and Featured mean

Verified is a paid listing. It pays for the deeper check of the agency's claims, a fuller profile, updates at any time, and a place in the PDF list of agencies we have verified in depth, which we send to people looking to hire.

Featured is a paid placement on top of Verified. It is always labelled, and it changes where a listing appears, never what the listing says. We do not sell rankings, badges, or wording.

Corrections

If something on a profile is wrong, tell us and we will fix it, whatever the plan.
