Braze expands AI from content creation to campaign operations

Braze announced three new AI tools at its Forge conference in Las Vegas: BrazeAI Decisioning Studio Go, Agentic Standards, and Operator Connect. The customer engagement platform says the products are designed to sit inside daily marketing workflows and cut the technical work that slows teams down.

Decisioning Studio Go is a self-service version of the company's enterprise Decisioning Studio Pro, which uses reinforcement learning to pick the next best action for each customer but usually needs dedicated data science and engineering staff. The lighter version targets email performance first, optimising for click-through rates. Marketers set the base emails, subject lines, calls to action, imagery and send-time parameters, and the system works out the best combination for each recipient and adjusts as engagement data comes in. A single campaign with eight emails, 25 subject lines, 10 calls to action and five images produces hundreds of thousands of possible variations. It is in beta and reaches general availability on 14 October 2026.

Agentic Standards, also due for general availability in October, hands quality assurance to autonomous agents built on large language models. Teams define their rules, covering brand standards, accessibility checks and regulatory compliance, and the agent audits the whole journey against them, keeps an audit log and can apply corrections automatically.

Operator Connect links Braze to external AI environments such as Claude. For brands trying to be cited and recommended by AI assistants, the shift matters less for what it does inside Braze than for where campaign data and decisions now flow: the same agentic plumbing that reviews a journey can also feed structured, current information into the assistants customers ask for recommendations.
