Google AI Mode now takes bookings and quote requests for US home services

Google has started letting home service businesses take bookings and quote requests that originate in AI Mode, working through partner platforms rather than direct integrations. Search product VP Robby Stein said on X that the feature is live in the US, with Angi, Thumbtack, Housecall Pro and Jobber named as partners and ServiceTitan listed as coming soon.

The route in depends on the platform a business already uses. Jobber says eligible US customers can accept AI Mode requests now with no lead fees, provided they hold a paid subscription, list a full address, connect a Google Business Profile at the same location and assign a booking or request form to Google. Trial subscriptions are excluded. Housecall Pro says all of its users will appear at no extra charge and are auto-enrolled, with no Google Business Profile required, though its integration is still described as coming soon.

Angi sends homeowners who pick a pro in AI Mode to that pro's Angi profile to request a quote. Thumbtack appears on Stein's list but had not published an AI Mode plan as of 4 November. The no-lead-fee terms from Jobber and Housecall Pro contrast with Google's Local Services Ads, where booking requests count as billable leads in the US and Canada.

For brands, the platform chosen to run jobs now shapes whether AI Mode can surface the business at all, and the qualifying rules differ by provider, down to whether a Google Business Profile is needed. Jobber's help page adds that collecting client reviews and using a booking form rather than a request form can help a business be recommended more often. Businesses on none of the listed platforms have no direct booking route through AI Mode.
